These terms govern your use of SassaHelp.co.za. By reading or using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. Who We Are

SassaHelp.co.za is an independent South African information website operated by Paul Geddes. We are not SASSA. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the South African Social Security Agency, the Department of Social Development, the Department of Employment and Labour, or any organ of state. We have no access to SASSA systems and no ability to influence any decision about your grant.

2. What This Site Is For

This site explains how South African social grants and UIF benefits work, in plain language. It is a reference and nothing more. Reading a guide here is not the same as applying, appealing, or lodging anything with SASSA. All applications, status checks and appeals happen only on SASSA's own channels:

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice. Grant rules change, and individual circumstances differ. If you are in a dispute with SASSA or need formal help, speak to a qualified legal practitioner or contact the Black Sash, which assists grant applicants free of charge.

5. Accuracy and No Guarantees

We check our figures against official sources and review them monthly, but we cannot guarantee that everything here is complete, current or error-free at the moment you read it. SASSA can change amounts, thresholds, dates and processes without notice. Always confirm anything important directly with SASSA before you act on it. We do not promise that using this site will result in an approved grant, a successful appeal, or a payment of any kind.

6. Use of Our Content

You may read, print and share our guides for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts if you credit SassaHelp.co.za and link back to the page. You may not republish our guides in full, sell them, or present them as your own work. You may not scrape or copy this site to build a competing site, and you may not reproduce our content in a way that suggests SASSA endorses it.

This site is free to read and is funded by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Adverts are supplied by external networks and are not endorsements by us. We do not control which adverts appear. If you see an advert that is misleading or appears to be a grant scam, please report it to us and we will act on it. We link to government sites and other third parties for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Once you leave SassaHelp.co.za, their terms apply, not ours.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, SassaHelp.co.za and its operator accept no liability for any loss, damage, missed payment, rejected application or other harm arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. You use the information here at your own risk, and you remain responsible for your own dealings with SASSA.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page, and the review date below will be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
