Following are the steps that you need to follow to fix the “Absa Cash Send SMS Not Received” issue when sending money through Absa Cash Send:
1. Resend Absa Cash Send SMS Through Absa Application
Step 1: Open Absa Application
Find the Absa application installed on your mobile phone, look for the Absa application icon from the app list.
Step 2: Go to Beneficiaries
Log in to your Absa account using your login credentials, then on the Main Screen. Locate the Menu option and then Beneficiaries, this will show you the list of all Beneficiaries added to your Absa application.
Step 3: Locate the Recipient Whome You Are Sending Money
In the beneficiaries list, find the Recipient who you are sending money to through the Absa cash-out facility. Find the name of the person, from the list for resending the Absa withdrawal code.
Step 4: Access Transaction History
Click on the History option next to the person’s name, to find all the transactions you made to that person.
Step 5: Resend Withdrawl Code
Find that transaction, it should be Pending or showing any other issue. Then, click on the More option next to that transaction and click on “Resend withdrawal code“.
Hold On! Do this before you hit publish
- Inform Recipient About Resend SMS: Before you hit the resend button, it is recommeded to inform the recipient that you are resending the withdrawl SMS again. You can make him/her call or text, so he/she can quickly check and inform you whether received an SMS or not.
- Double-check Phone Number: Make sure you have entered the correct phone number of the recipient when sending money through Cash Send initially, A single typo can lead to an Absa Cash Send SMS not received error. So, carefully enter the phone number and double-check before proceeding.
- Ensure good signal: Ask the recipient to check his/her mobile signal, it is very important to have good signal strength to receive SMS.

If the recipient did not receive the withdrawl code again after resending the SMS, then follow the below-shared tips to troubleshoot the issue:
Check for Network Issues
If the recipient does not have a good network or the internet is not stable, SMS may not be delivered. This can be the issue why Absa Cash Send SMS Not Received initially, and even after resending. Ensure that there is a good network and the internet is working well for the process.
Restart Phone
This issue can be resolved by just simply restarting the recipient’s mobile phone. Sometimes, whether it is luck or a technical method, restarting helps in fixing minor glitches and issues.
Check the Recipient’s Phone
Ensure that the recipient’s phone is in good condition, and working properly. If the recipient’s phone is switched off, out of range, out of service area, or facing any technical issue, then this can cause Absa SMS not received. This can be solved by changing the mobile phone, or the recipient can put his/her SIM into another mobile phone.
Check Recipient’s Inbox Storage
The reason why Absa Cash Send SMS not received issue can be the recipient’s inbox reached its full capacity, if this is the case, delete some messages to make storage. This may fix your problem.
