Reverse Payment Using USSD Code
First of all, open the dial pad in your phone, this is the application you always use to make a call.
Type the USSD Code *120*321# and press the call button to make the call.
You will see an automated message with some options on the screen, there will be some options related to FNB such as sending money, check balance etc.
Select the “Send Money” option by replying to the corresponding number added before the Send Money option.
Then, there will be some options again, choose the “eWallet Reversal” option by replying to the corresponding number for that option.
All your recent eWallet transactions will be presented on the screen, choose the one that you want to reverse. Look for the recipient’s number and amount to make sure that you have selected the right transaction for reversal.
Reply the number added before the transaction that you want to select.
You might also asked to provide the reason why you want to reverse this transaction and confirm it.
You’re done! You have reversed the eWallet payment.
Reverse eWallet Payment Using FNB App
Your eWallet transaction can be reviewed using the FNB Application. If you are not using it already, then download and install it from the app store and register by providing the details asked during registration. Once done, follow the below-mentioned steps to reveres your payment:
Locate the FNB Application installed on your mobile phone.
Log in (if you are not logged in already) using your correct login information.
On the app’s main screen, find the “Debit Orders” option, it will be available under the Payments or Transactions.
On the next page, select “My Debit Orders” to find the full list of all your transactions.
Look for the transaction you want to reverse and look for the recipient’s number and amount of the transactions.
Tap on the transaction that you want to reverse, there will be some options like “Dispute” and “Reverse”
Click on the “Reverse”.
You will be asked to provide a valid reason why you want to reverse this transaction. So, provide an accurate reason.
Confirm the reversal by tapping “Confirm”. That’s all!
You’ve submitted your transaction reversal request, now you need to wait for a few days for the response from FNB. If your reversal was valid and approved, you will see the amount credited back to your FNB account.
