How To Get SASSA OTP Code?
If you have applied for the SASSA grant or accessed your SASSA account, you will receive an SASSA OTP on your registered mobile number. This is the one-time password, used for the verification.
SASSA OTP PIN is a 6-digit one-time password that has a limited time validity of less than 15 minutes. If you don’t use it within 15 minutes of receiving the code, it will expire and become of no use.
So, it is always important to provide an active mobile number because you will need it every time you log into your SASSA portal, or perform any task related to your grant, such as changing your bank account, phone number filing an appeal etc.
How To Fix “SASSA OTP Code Not Received”?
It is quite common to face the “SASSA One Time Pin Not Received” issue when logging in to the SASSA Portal, or doing any change in your SASSA grant application. Without OTP verification, you can not access your account. If you are in this situation, then follow the below steps to fix this problem:
Important: If you are not receiving OTP in your few attempts, then don’t try again and again because it can create an “invalid token” error and prevent you from generating a new SASSA OTP PIN request for 24 hours. This will make your problem even worse.
- You got the “Invalid Token” error and are not able to generate a new code, then resend the OTP after 24 hours.
- Make sure your mobile phone has good network signals. If not, then make sure to try again when the signal is good.
- Double-check that you’ve provided the correct mobile number, the same number which is registered with SASSA.
- Ensure that your mobile is in good condition and receiving text messages and mobile calls.
- If your message inbox is full, then you won’t receive OTP. Delete some messages to make enough space before resending OTP again.
- There might be some problem with SASSA’s server, try again after a few hours when the servers are back at normal state.
